Marian F. Jannetto Vinci, 89, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2015, with family by her side. She was born July 23, 1925, in Chicago. Marian lived a very full and loving life, always placing her family first. Her best memories consisted of any family gathering, complete with a friendly game of poker.
Being both courageous and adventurous, one of her favorite accomplishments was when she went skydiving at the age of 87, with her two daughters and granddaughter. Marian worked full-time until she was 72 years old, proving to be dedicated and independent.
She was an avid bowler, enjoyed trips to casinos and could bring laughter into any room. In addition to her vivacious and lively spirit, Marian had a generous and loving heart – she was truly a beautiful woman inside and out. Marian is survived by her adoring family.
Loving mother of Dawn (Bob) Geras, Diane Jannetto, Chuck (Cathie) Jannetto, Mary Jo (Bill) Hagen, Lora (Mark) Massengale, Russ (Gina) Jannetto and Carolyn Nakamura. Cherished ‘Grandma Kitty’ of Derek (Jennie), Todd (Kirsten), Jamie (John), Ryan (Heather), Dan (Ashlynne), Katie, Julia, Trevor, Linzy, Nick, David, Laura, Linda and Cindy.
